Mt Tinbeerwah - Tewantin National Park

Mt Tinbeerwah

265m above sea level
A short up hill walk from the car park.

This is an easy one. Sealed path to the first lookout point. Then a easy walk over solid ground and some steps to the fire watch tower.  For the more adventurous at the lower end of the fence section, and one set of stairs down, a track (not well defined) leads down to the bottom of the rock faces used for abseiling. The various climbs are 50m ~ 100m according to a team climbing when I was there.  This track is mostly loose rock and steep and the track gets less and less defined as you go.

The best part about this walk is the view.  Getting there is no challenge.

The Map

Noosa on a misty afternoon

Could that be Mt Cooroora behind the lake?

The abseiling rock face.

The first part is sealed.

Then solid rock and steps.
